1. **Debate Competition**

Imperial College London
“National Health and Life Sciences Debate Competition

talks from Simon Singh and Lord Robert Winston, followed by a round of debate focussing on that topic.
expand your knowledge base, meet other medical students from across the country, win prizes and meet a series of highly impressive speakers.

Registration for this event is now open—and places are limited—so please register at debate@imperial.ac.uk, or if you have any questions. Registration is £30 per team and overnight accommodation can be arranged.

2. **A Dog with a Tail at Both Ends **

A play on ethical issues by the President of Royal College of Paediatrics and performed by Birmingham University Medical Students.
It is free for all the medical students from Oxford University Medical School. All proceeds will go to the Thomas’ Fund.

Written by Dr Andrew Williams, a Consultant Paediatrician at the Northampton General Hospital.
Place: Butterworth Hall, Warwick University

6. **House for medics to rent 2010-2011**

4 Bedroom House/Cowly

16 Bartlemas has been let to medics for the past 4 years and all the tenants have been very mature, sensible and reliable. We, the landlords, would therefore like to set up a similar let for next year with medics.
The rent would be £1440 per month which works out at £360 per person per month. We try very hard to create a problem-free let and respond quickly to any requests or problems.
