1. **TO ALL OSLER SPORTS AND SOCIETIES**
The new academic year is fast approaching us, and we are working on getting the materials to the freshers ASAP. This includes details of sport clubs and societies available at Osler. To keep things up to date, we need to know who the CURRENT PRESIDENTS or CAPTAINS are for each sport/society.
If you are the new president/captain for an Osler society, or the ex-person in charge, PLEASE EMAIL myself (rob.middleton@medschool.ox.ac.uk) or Naieya (Naieya.madhvani@medschool.ox.ac.uk) with the club you are in charge of, and your position.
Please do this ASAP so we can get everything sorted before the start of next term.
Cheers!
Rob.

2. **Students bloggers urgently needed for the new elective network website**
Dear Students,
The Electives Network is changing!
We are a web based Not for Profit Company that works toward providing med students with access to the contact details of elective placements all over the world. We have recently begun a complete redesign of the site in order to make it more accessible for students so that you can find all the information you need about planning an elective in one place.
However without input from students like you it is very challenging for us to ensure that future students are able to understand the nature of each placement as experienced by an elective student. So we need your help.
Whilst on your elective and in the run up to your elective would you be interested in writing a blog so that other students can follow your experience?
The most popular blog each month will receive a text book prize!
So please help us and future students and sign up to write a blog now on our new site.
Just email Alexa at alexa.chandler@electives.net to receive a username and password.
Thank you in advance for helping us, we look forward to reading the blogs when you start your electives!
Best Wishes,

3. **TWOBC open meeting, 8th July**
Dear Carolyn,
We are organising the attached event – which will consist of talks on multiple sclerosis & motor neuron disease for a lay audience. It is a free event and open to all. Please would you advertise this event amongst the medical students in case any of them wish to attend,
With thanks,
Samantha Cragg,
Administrator, Neuropathology Dept.
