GET EXCITED! In less than three months you’ll be enjoying your FRESHERS’ FORTNIGHT – two long weeks filled with medic fun and frolics! These weeks are the perfect opportunity to get to know the lovely people you’ll be spending the next three years with – Oxford, Cambridge and Grad students alike.

The pinnacle of this excitement is the FRESHERS’ DINNER – a delicious three-course meal (with or without wine) in the beautiful New College. We’ll mix you up for each course, crew-date style, so you can get to know loads of new people and have a brilliant evening followed by dancing the night away in THE BRIDGE!

The whole year got involved last year and had an incredible night…and now it’s your turn!

their 2010 UK tour. Their first date has completely sold out, so they
have just added a second date on Friday 9th April.

country’s most inventive vocabulary of swear-words – you will be
delighted and disgusted in equal measures.

Dear one and all, you cordially invited to Osler Halfway Hall on
Saturday 20th March for a dinner of courses three, as detailed in the
menu below, in the picturesque and truly delightful surroundings of
New College Hall. Prior to and following dinner, we will have full use
of their bar, before the night takes us elsewhere..

The dinner is to be priced at £22 per person and includes half a
bottle of wine per person (£18 if non-alcoholic).

Please RSVP to this email address by midnight FRIDAY 5TH MARCH if you
wish to attend, including details of DIETARY REQUIREMENTS and
Alcoholic / Non-Alcoholic ticket.

After this time, numbers will be FINAL – if you don’t RSVP you will
NOT be able to attend. Similarly, if you RSVP, you are committed to
payment regardless of whether you attend – unless you can find someone
else to fill your place.

I have attached the current list of attendees, including details of
dietary requirements and such – please check this list to make sure
your name is on it and your dietary requirements are correct. Contrary
to the beliefs of some vegetarians, one is not psychic.

Following an epic journey into Headington and several shady dealings
with some dangerous looking men in dark places, Osler House now has a
working television..

Go watch it! You can watch all the old school channels (BBC1, BBC2..)
and those new ones like Dave and E4. Jon recommends you check out
“Rabbit” and it’s equally risque counterpart “Gay Rabbit”. Nice.

We’ve moved the foosball into the main room. The pool table’s still
where it was, complete with pool cues.

Those attractive people that live in the kitchen are very lonely and
want you to go eat sandwiches. (If we don’t use it more, the medical
school might take it away from us.. = no more bops and such :( ).

In other news, the floor might be getting replaced.
